We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

  • Product Representation: While we endeavour to display our products as accurately as possible, colours and textures may vary slightly due to screen calibration, lighting, and the nature of the materials. We recommend viewing samples in-store where possible.

  • Pricing: All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Orders: All orders placed through our website or in-store are subject to acceptance by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing or product description, or suspected fraudulent activity.

  • Custom Orders: Products that are custom-tinted, cut-to-size, or specially ordered for you are considered custom orders and may be subject to specific conditions, including non-returnability unless faulty.

  • Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Victoria Paint and Wallpaper shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, or from the inability to use them.

2. Payment

  • We accept various payment methods as indicated on our website or in-store.

  • Full payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed upon for trade accounts or special orders.

3. Delivery & Collection

  • Delivery Area: We offer delivery services within specific areas in Victoria, Australia. Please inquire about delivery options and charges at the time of purchase.

  • Delivery Times: Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. We are not liable for any delays in delivery.

  • Risk: Risk of loss and damage to products passes to you upon delivery or collection of the goods.

  • Inspection upon Receipt: It is your responsibility to inspect all products immediately upon delivery or collection for any damage, defects, or discrepancies. Any issues must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt. Failure to do so may affect your ability to claim for damage or missing items.

4. Returns Policy

Our returns policy is in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

4.1. Faulty or Damaged Goods

  • If a product is found to be faulty, defective, or significantly not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, as per your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

  • Please notify us immediately (within 48 hours of receipt for transit damage) if you receive a faulty or damaged item. We may require photographic evidence of the damage or defect.

  • We will cover the cost of return shipping for faulty or damaged goods.

4.2. Change of Mind Returns

  • We understand that circumstances can change. For unopened, unused, and undamaged standard (non-custom) products in their original packaging, we may offer a refund or exchange for a change of mind, subject to the following conditions:

    • You must notify us of your intention to return the item within 14 days of the original purchase date.

    • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

    • You are responsible for the cost and safe return of the goods to our store at 395 Bay Street, Port Melbourne, VIC, 3207.

    • Items must be returned in a resalable condition, meaning they are as new, unopened, and in their original factory packaging.

    • We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the returned goods do not meet these conditions.

  • Exclusions for Change of Mind Returns:

    • Tinted Paints: Custom-tinted paints are mixed specifically for your order and cannot be resold. Therefore, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for tinted paints due to change of mind. Please ensure your colour selection is final before tinting.

    • Cut Wallpaper: Wallpaper that has been cut from a roll to your specific measurements is a custom order and is not eligible for change of mind returns.

    • Specially Ordered Items: Any products that were specially ordered in for you and are not part of our regular stock may be subject to a strict no-returns policy for change of mind, unless otherwise agreed at the time of purchase.

    • Opened or Used Products: Products that have been opened, used, or partially consumed are not eligible for change of mind returns.

4.3. How to Initiate a Return

  • Please provide your name, contact details, order number, and a detailed reason for the return. We may issue a Return Authorisation (RA) number, which must be included with your returned goods.

4.4. Processing Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned goods.

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used for the purchase.

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Victoria Paint and Wallpaper or its suppliers and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws.
